Privacy
This is a plain, static guide. It is built to be useful without collecting anything about you.
Short version: no accounts, no logins, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We do count anonymous, aggregate visits to see whether the guide is reaching people — nothing that identifies you or follows you around the web. Anything you type, and your progress, stays in your own browser.
What the site does not do
- It does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
- It does not use tracking cookies or run advertising.
- It does not identify you or follow you across other websites.
- It does not sell or share personal information.
- It does not store the contents of the templates you fill in on any server.
Anonymous usage measurement
To know whether this guide is actually reaching and helping people, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first measurement tool provided by the host. It counts things like page views, which pages are opened, the rough region (country) a visit came from, and how quickly pages load.
It does this without cookies and without fingerprinting your device, so it cannot identify you or build a profile of you across other sites. The numbers are aggregate only — counts, not people. (Cloudflare does not collect this data for visitors in the EU.)
What stays in your browser
- Learning path progress. When you mark a lesson complete, that is saved in your browser’s local storage on this device only. It is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data, or using the reset control on the learning path, removes it.
- Search. Search runs entirely in your browser. Your search terms are not sent to a server.
- Templates. The fillable templates work in the page itself. Whatever you type stays on your screen until you copy, download, or email it yourself.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on a standard static-hosting service. Like most web hosts, it may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and the page requested) to operate the service and protect it from abuse. These logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not combined with anything from the pages above.
Changes
If this site ever starts collecting more than what is described here, this page will say so plainly before that happens.
