Six-session training plan

Six sessions, 45 to 60 minutes each. Real work, real exercises, one written output per session. No lectures over ten minutes.

  1. 1 How we lead What kind of leadership do we want here?
  2. 2 Start with the end What are we trying to make true?
  3. 3 Ownership and reporting Who owns what, and who needs to know?
  4. 4 Truth early Can people raise problems while there is still time to act?
  5. 5 Systems over blame What made this problem likely?
  6. 6 Strategy and follow-through What matters most this quarter?

How to run the program

  • One session per week works well. Two per week is too fast.
  • Use real, current work in every exercise.
  • End each session with one concrete output, not a feeling.
  • Review the program at 30 days. See How to roll this out.
